Charly Chaplin’s Modern Times is another great movie about the future of machinery in the modern world. The mythic scene where Chaplin is literally “eaten” by the machine is an interesting image for modern man to reflect upon. Aren’t we all somewhat slaves from the technologies, schedules, structures, and systems surrounding us today? Is it possible to control the evolution of modern technology? Do we consider artificial intelligence as an extension of ourselves or will it one way or another affront us in an elementary independence?
