The movie Metropolis is Fritz Lang’s Masterpiece. Metropolis is one of the most exciting and exceptional works of art that humankind has ever produced. In this movie, dating back from the late 20’s, mankind is being manipulated by a mastermind, called Fredersen. To achieve his goals and to control the population that is living underground, Frederson creates the perfect machine in the form of a women. But right after, chaos breaks out… While Lang is using a lot of symbolism in Metropolis, the movie is somewhat hard to grasp. Nevertheless, very profound stuff here for those interesting in the philosophical questions behind artificial intelligence.
